Dear Ms. Brooks:
I am Sarah Brinklow, the communications coordinator for the local group People for a Better Bus Station (PFABBS). I am writing to formally make a request for the leaders of our group to meet with you and discuss the concerns that members of our group have with the proposed location and other issues involving the transit center project for Main and Clinton. I have phoned your office with this request on two occasions, and on the second occasion, it was requested that I put it in writing.
People for a Better Bus Station wishes to keep meaningful public input at the forefront of the Renaissance Center project, and has a desire to work with community leaders to assure that this is accomplished. We hope to hear from you shortly to get together and dialogue with you. I would anticipate that this could be accomplished with a couple of the organization’s founders, namely myself and one or two other members of our core group.
We are anxious to talk with you, and hope that it can achieve good communication between members of the community and yourself.
Looking very much forward to meeting you and having that take place.
Respect,
Sarah Brinklow
